For stuff about the best volleyball games and players around the world, you’re in the wrong place. This is a blog about my coaching and playing experiences at a pretty modest level. I’ve been coaching for a while now. I’m not interested in sport. I’m even less interested in winning. Yet somehow people still let me coach teams. What I do find interesting is everything else about the human experience you find in volleyball.

So for a taste of the parochial, the economic and the esoteric, you are indeed in the right place.

And besides volleyball?

I make cartoons for a living. I started an animation studio with some school friends a few years ago, and everyday we walk into work is a blessing. Besides that I have a house and mortgage, go surfing (badly), and just generally try to be a decent human being.
